Considering the tuition costs, I really think this is a great place to start an engineering degree. There isn't so much pressure than encouragement to do well here. Overall, the classes and living accommodations really are worth the price.

For being a (relatively) less expensive college, Tech gives an amazing education that more than prepares you for a job after college. Its career fair in 2014 had over 350 companies - a crazy high amount, and a school record.

Michigan Tech is a little pricey, but the money is more than worth it. There are tons of things to do, places to see, and organizations to join. The teachers are dedicated to the success of their students. The university provides learning centers in every subject staffed by upperclassmen to help students do homework, understand concepts, and study for tests. They offer services to help students get a job, internship/co-op, study abroad, and many other services. Tech is definitely worth the money.
