Know what you want to do, the teachers and advisors here want to immediately start you on a path for success but can only take you so far if you change your mind several times. That's okay because every time you switch majors, you switch advisors/ teachers so it saves you the embarrassment. That's a bonus for going to a huge school.

Apply for as much scholarships, figure out exactly where you want to live, and have fun! Know about the MT OneStop, for you will probably visit there once or twice your freshman year to take care of any financials or documentations.
