    � get a planner (it saves your life) � let your parents be obsessive on the first day, bring them to as many functions as possible (you'll miss them deeply after the first semester) � get involved, it's the quickest way to make friends � get all your stuff for move in day early � don't procrastinate

    I would advise a future MSU student to keep a planner. A planner is the best way to stay organized and on top of things. Having a planner lowers your chances of miss an important assignment or exam.
