Probably because our school is so small, the cafeteria (aptly named the Om Nom Café) is poorly stocked. They only serve breakfast, lunch, and a small assortment of snacks, and they aren't open on the weekends. Thankfully, the dorms have full kitchens so we can make our own food, but you can't really rely on the café to get meals during the week. On a more positive note, the café's hot lunches and bakery items are pretty good, you just have to get there early before everyone else takes some. We also have a set of vending machines on the second floor that have snacks and bottled drinks, but these aren't always reliably stocked.
Tl;dr: the café can't keep up with the student body's hunger, so I would recommend that you limit the money you put on your meal plan and spend more money on groceries instead.
