Learn how to study and gain a good learn ethic . Take advantage of the free tutors and the learning center alone with the library .

    - GO TO CLASS!! Do not expect to get great grades if you do not attend class. - USE ALL HELP RESOURCES!! They are put in place for your benefits and help out a lot! -STUDY, STUDY & STUDY! Sure you could get by in high school but college is a different ball park. Make friend/friends in each class. It will be essential if having to miss a class is necessary. 9 times out of 10, you will not need the required textbook, so find cheap ones, online sources, or go half with a friend in the same class! MOST IMPORTANTLY! REST!!! Do not overwork yourself but do not underwork yourself as well! Get plenty of rest it will be essential here!

Pay attention in classes your first time through so you do not have to repeat classes. I failed Calculus 1 the first time through in the fall semester and almost lost my scholarship. Now, I have a 3.2 GPA and am ready to continue the rest of my college experience.
