Take a visit! The campus is pretty even in the middle of winter and you will experience the size and see if it is the right fit for you! Don't hesitate to talk to staff, they are beyond willing to answer any questions!

Do not be afraid to ask questions, make friends, and become familiar with campus. As a freshman I moved in early for orientation and took the day before classes to just walk around and become familiar with the sidewalks and how the buildings were laid out. The first couple times for supper I sat with people I didn't know, and I talked to my suite mates and room mate on facebook to get to know them. It helped a lot especially because no one from my high school came to the college I went to.
