Most Helpful Review for Monroe Community College

There are definitely many teachers who make their classes worth while, however, the general student population, as well as atmosphere, are not too in tune to the learning aspect of college. Obviously this partly depends on which major is taken, but overall, there aren't many brilliant minds to push against to better yourself.

Monroe community college has instructive professors and a good learning environment. There's isn't much to do on campus because not very many people live there though it does have some decent clubs. Getting to and from classes is pretty easy and people are generally very helpful and friendly.

I would say that MCC is a good school. There are a lot of people that come here and treat it like extended high school but once you get into the second semester classes that trickles away. There are great opportunities here.

MCC is an extremely well priced school for the education that you receive. The services, extracurricular activities and clubs are not as fantastic as traditional four year schools, but they are excellent for a community college. Classes are very easy to schedule, and the 2+2 program offered is a great choice.

Although people who generally live in the Rochester area like to look down on Monroe Community College as a downgrade, it is more of the better option. The cost is unbelievably a much less burden to endure. All the while you also receive a great education that can be used in any University.
