There are definitely many teachers who make their classes worth while, however, the general student population, as well as atmosphere, are not too in tune to the learning aspect of college. Obviously this partly depends on which major is taken, but overall, there aren't many brilliant minds to push against to better yourself.

monroe community college is a good school if you are only interested in math, science, and technical trades. their humanities courses are hit or miss, so it seems best to avoid them all together if you are planning on transferring to another college. i would take classes with many of my past professors over and over again--because i liked them so much--, though.

Monroe Community College is a cost-friendly school and offers excellent professors. Many of the teachers here also teach at high prestige universities like the UofR and RIT. You WILL NOT get the college experience at this school, however.

The education is quality and the price will not break your bank. The array of study choices gives a broad spectrum of career fields to explore. Most of the faculty and the teachers are available and willing to be helpful with anything they can do to help students move forward with their educational careers.

Great school and convenient. You get in what you put out and there are plenty of resources for help if needed. There are two locations and your major may depend on where you attend. I attend the inner city college which is easily accessible and works great with my schedule.

Monroe community college has instructive professors and a good learning environment. There's isn't much to do on campus because not very many people live there though it does have some decent clubs. Getting to and from classes is pretty easy and people are generally very helpful and friendly.

I would say that MCC is a good school. There are a lot of people that come here and treat it like extended high school but once you get into the second semester classes that trickles away. There are great opportunities here.
