There are an enormous variety of clubs on campus, including Swing Dancing, Racquetball, and Quidditch. The gym on campus is a popular place for recreation. Hiking the M is a fun activity many students engage in on the weekends. Residence halls put on events every other week, and campus traditional events, such as the Mr. Brozeman/Miss Gallatin Pageant, Masquerade Ball, and the Date Auction, happen every month. MSU is located in the Gallatin Valley, close to Bridger Bowl and Big Sky ski areas. The surrounding area is also optimal for hiking, climbing, camping, biking, hunting, and fishing. If you're not outdoors-inclined, Bozeman has many local artisans as well as chain stores. There is no end to the fun opportunities both on and off campus; get out and explore!

Bozeman has a huge variety of outdoor activities. Plus they have the outdoor recreation building that you can rent equipment from for cheap or sign up for outdoor rec sponsored trips. You can be climbing, kayaking, or skiing within a 15 minute drive. Campus offers cheap movie showings in the campus' procrastinator theater or a range of concerts and events that happen during the semester. There are also a range of food and cultural fairs that are held in the Strand Union building.

There are so many fun things to do near by. We have one ski resort twenty minutes away and another one thirty minutes away. Besides the many other mountain activities available Yellowstone is near by as well as popular hot springs.

College is what you make it. Yes the main reason why we are here is to study and get good grades. You also need to find a balance between work and play. I find myself struggling with this idea. We have a rec center on campus where you can bowl, play pool, or just hang out with friends and watch the game. There also a ton of events that happen at the Brick Bredman Fieldhouse. My personal favorite is Bobcat Football.

Everyone in this town is pretty much a skier or a snowboarder. There is a mall, movie theater, bowling in the rec center, and all the hiking and outdoor activities you could ask for. Some people bring their hunting gear and go hunting. There are a few clubs to join as well.Feeding the ducks in the duck pond may take a few minutes off your hands. Sometimes it is hard to find things to do in this town though.

Ski. Ski. Ski. Snow is here most of the year, so if you're not a fan of shredding, this probably isn't the best campus for you. Outdoor winter activities (snowshoeing, hot springs, hiking, etc.) can also be done. AWESOME camping in the winter. Lots of great fun.
