every student will perceive the academic rigor at mount san antonio college differently. many variables come into play when measuring the academic demands of professors. but ultimately, the difficulty level of academics will depend greatly on the studentâ??s investment of time towards their education. a student will only reap what they sow.

Teachers really keep students' noses to the grinding stone, particularly in the more major specific courses. Many teachers come from four year backgrounds and carry the same standards of teaching here. Teachers really expect a lot of students and set very high academic standards and very time consuming readings, essays, film watching, exams, and projects to encourage students to achieve their full potential academically.

Counselors have an 'open door policy' they are there to help you succeed.

The Academics are on par with some of the hardest classes you can take a huge universities. They demand you to work hard to set your self up to for success. But not without knowing your limits and pushing yourself.

Several of Mt. SAC's professors are professors at other Cal States and give much of the same load they would at a CSU.
