It's a junior college, don't expect state of the art, on the cutting edge of technology, but do expect to learn the basics. You've got to start somewhere and fore getting your GE's out of the way there's not better option. Much more culture and age perspectives brought into discussions.

Attending Police Academy is a sentence to a life time of harassment. The Director when I attended over looked students using alcohol while attending class. As s a retired U.S.A. Officer with 19 years service, upon graduation, it was evident that the academy was a hustle for funds, my picture is on the wall , 1st full time academy.

The campus is great. Most classes are small and the teachers are available so you can talk to them and get help on homework. The bookstore has food and a lot of school supplies, I purchase books there and although you can get them cheaper online, they are pretty cheap.

The environment at this school allows you to feel welcomed and invited to the activities on campus. The location of the school is very convenient, as it in near a shopping center, as well as highway 29 which allows easy access to different nearby cities. Many people at this school are very welcoming and are open to help anyone in need of help

It's not bad for a JC. Choosing your classes can be frustrating as you can't get a science class until you've completely 3 semesters already. However, it's well unkept and the people and staff are pretty friendly with a few exceptions.

Napa Valley College is a fantastic starting school for students who can't afford a 4-year college right away. The teachers are extremely helpful and qualified. NVC is affordable and well worth the two years I have spent here.
