Categories Comments Campus Safety NCC is a very safe campus! The Campus Safety Office is awesome! They'll walk you out to your car if you have night classes; they'll jumpstart your car! We have blue police boxes connected to the Nashua PD all around the exterior of the campus!
Greek Life We have a Greek-named honor society chapter called Phi Theta Kappa, but other than that, we have no fraternities or sororitites.
Clubs and Activities The Student Life advisor is amazing! She fully supports student extracurriculars and will help you make a new club if we don't have one! She organizes so many events, both on and off campus every month!
Great for these types of students Great for those looking for personal classes, active student life, and for those looking for a foot in the door of a transfer school. NCC has many articulation agreements with other colleges.
Share any unusual traditions or locations on campus We always have a Halloween party every year. We have a DJ, party games with prizes, and copious amounts of candy! At the beginning of every semester, we also have a cookie decorating contest with varied colors of frosting. Everyone posts their designs to our school app and the faculty and staff judge. Winners receive gift cards to Café 505!
Bang for the buck NCC costs so much less than 4 year colleges! My tuition for 5 classes was only $3000! And many of the textbooks here can be found online for cheap! I was able to pay for all 4 semesters here with savings! But it's still good quality education! Where else can you find that!?
What to do for fun Again, join clubs! Every day of the week will have club meetings here during the lunch hour of 12-1. We also have a loft with a ton of comfy chairs for students to hang out in. The Student Senate also puts on many events like movie nights, cookouts, and holiday celebrations.
Food and Dining The cafeteria here is named Café 505, and they have a grill you can order from, as well as refrigerated cases they fill with their own salads, parfaits, etc. They have the best french fries ever! Thick cut and seasoned! The food is reasonably priced and many gift cards to Café are given away throughout the year.
Dorm Life There are no dorms here, and I am happy about that. Since NCC is small, dorms would be too distracting to academics.
Academic Rigor The academic rigor can vary greatly on professor. Some classes are pathetically easy, and others really push you to accomplish more. We also have an Honors Program, which has more consistency in standards. The Honors Program here is not more work, it's just more challenging work.
Tips for prospective students If you want to make the most of your college years, get involved. You'd be amazed how it elevates your sense of pride in your community. NCC has over a dozen students clubs, and if there is a club we don't have yet, students are encouraged to make there own with help from the Student Life advisor.
In three sentences NCC is all about the students. There is always someone to help you. Don't be afraid to reach out for help.

Categories Comments Great for these types of students Students that want to get their feet wet before a large university or students looking to save money.
Food and Dining Food is pretty good but kind of expensive. No meal plan is offered so it's real cash that is being spent.
Dorm Life No room & board available.
Academic Rigor I do not have much to compare this college to another larger university besides what friends have told me. There is a lot of busy work like high school, however if one does not apply themselves, falling behind is easy.
Tips for prospective students Be sure that if you are transferring from this school to a larger university that all of your credits will transfer!
In three sentences Great school to get into the flow of college life. Classes are well structured but students definitely have to apply themselves. Highly recommended before attending a larger more expensive university.

Categories Comments Great for these types of students -Unsure of what they want their major to be -Little money -People who just want to brush up on some subjects
Tips for prospective students Don't buy your books at the bookstore. Get them online.
Bang for the buck Without a doubt, it's the best way to go if you want to go to college, but aren't sure what for. I think it could be better though, since they charge a ridiculous gym fee every semester, and other fees that do not apply to many students.
Am enjoying being here I hated the first semester, but now that I'm done with the into classes I really enjoy it. The staff is very helpful and dedicated to helping students learn and understand material :)
Am learning a lot There were a few classes where I felt like I didn't learn much, but the majority of my teachers have taught their subjects well, and often with lots of enthusiasm. This enthusiasm makes classes more enjoyable and dynamic.
