Like all colleges there are hide away professors. This can be compounded by the most ineffective privatization method in public learning. They use a third party contractor for student academic support. The better instructors do not lean on this crutch. But the weak ones do and those encourage the new ones to lean on it as well. You might be reaching New York or New Delhi when you try to get assistance. But I can tell you that it is awful. A poor communication at best, a zero accountability representative with a bad attitude at worst. A confusion by a foreigner at this third party pseudo tutelage cost me turning in a final most of grade English paper in the wrong format. A borderline A for the semester turned into C, and no one had the heart to do the right thing about it. Be aware this contracted privatized disservice is likely to undermine the diligence of your hard work. The moral of the story is contact all instructors by email before taking their class. If they do not have a contact number in their automatic email signature do not take their class. This holds true for all Colleges.

Apply early! Lines get long quickly and they move at a turtles pace. Buy a parking pass asap and follow the parking rules. The security are serious!

Taking preliminary classes at Nashville State Community College is definitely the best choice. It is about three times cheaper than going straight to a university after high school, and you will receive a lot of the same information that a 4 year school will offer you. Do your research in plenty of time before attending college.
