Do not take a tour during the summer. Visit during the week on a day with classes so you can see the culture and dynamics of the "unique" atmosphere. This is not a school to offer the normal college experience, so if that's what you're looking for, search elsewhere (that was your warning). I looked into transferring so many times my first year because the class work was so stressful and the environment was toxic to me. Ended up not, because the academics you cant find anywhere else. This school will force you to grow as a person, and I don't regret my decision, but many people do. Most people look into transferring and there is not a great retention rate.
