What Students Are Saying

Course loads are very heavy, but manageable if you are dedicated and want to learn and get something out of the class. Since I am a journalism major the writing and the reading have been very plentiful, but if you are up to the challenge you will come out a much better and polished reader and writer.
Diego from Union City, NJ
not much
Masooma from Jersey City, NJ
njcu requests that all students maintain a 2.5 or higher gpa. in some cases based on your major, you have to have it above 2.5. teacher work hand to hand with students as well as tutors. just like every other school we do have consequences for those who refuse to follow the rules.
barbara from elizabeth, nj
I love it.
Rose from Jersey City, NJ
Academic wise this school is great as well.
from Newark, NJ
The academics are pretty demanding. The professors have said that they feel that everyone who attends this school should receive a good education and they make sure of it, but if you are having a hard time keeping up with academics they always find a way to help you work around you problems.
