Be different. NYU is all about diversity. Everyone you meet here is fascinating in their own way. The things you can look forward to here is bragging rights you live in one of the world's greatest cities there's basically no resource or industry not a your fingertips. Internships are everywhere if you take the chance to look and in my first year alone I've met some of my idols: film directors, DJs, musicians etc. Also a lot of kids at NYU have their heart set on what they want to do. We are really school oriented here. You can choose...

New York University has plenty of amazing, tough classes to choose from. Safety and helping students get through their academics are top priorities, often organizing events to relax students during finals week and extracurriculars students would find fun. Teachers are tough graders but are willing to help their students with whatever they might need in order to do well in the class.

NYU isn't for everybody, but if you want to become more independent, meet lots of interesting and diverse people, and eat a variety of food NYU is the perfect place for you. Even though sometimes it can feel like only wealthy people belong here, you eventually find your own place and embrace the city.

Every morning I wake up filled to the brim by the hum of excitement and energy that exudes from New York City into NYU and subsequently into me. Settled into the cultural mecca, not a day goes by that is boring or that doesn't motivate me. NYU's entire population is bigger than my hometowns, but such a large adjustment has propelled me into exciting and rigorous classes that inspire me everyday to do the best work I can and to want to grow as a student and as a human. There is no other place like NYU, I couldn't see myself anywhere else, and nowhere else would I be afforded the opportunities I have had here.

NYU is full of incredible opportunities, based on its location, on-campus events, and its prestigious name. There are hundreds of options for majors and many big name companies come here for new hires, so it's definitely worth your time. Because it's so big, you will meet people and make many friends/references.

The people are interesting, international, and engaging. There's an incredibly wide range of classes to choose from. NYU gives you so many opportunities (help with acing job interviews, writer's workshops, studying abroad), I'm truly glad I came here.

Less than two years ago, New York University has launched its new campus in Shanghai, China. Besides the obvious advantages of the location, its academic program includes professors from all over the world, thus exposing its students to different perspectives in order to help them become true global citizens with many opportunities in the future, in addition to experiencing it with students from all over the world. Since it is a new program of NYU, the university is changing and developing every day, and there is a lot of place for students to be part of it and change it according to their needs.

I ultimately decided no for NYU. It's a great school with a great environment, but the education isn't worth the debt. If you can afford it then go at it.
