What Students Are Saying

Nicholls State University has a lot of classes that will challenge you, but it is worth it to do as well as you can in all classes.
Abbie from Des Allemands, LA
No course is really too hard but the work loads can be a bit heavy depending on the teacher and the pace of the class.
Nicholls Student from New Orleans, LA
So far my classes have been challenging enough to push me out of my comfort zone, but not impossible enough for me to crumble in on myself. Even if I were to become lost, the only reason I would fail is if I decided not to reach out to anyone for help. The professors don't want you to fail, they want to see you succeed. My professors have taught me that you can't succeed without trying, you can't grow without mistakes, and you can't learn without questions.
Faith from Morgan City, LA
I can say the work load was manageable and not really difficult. Treat all assignments like a challenge and tackle them head on. procrastination will be your greatest down fall
Esta
the teachers at nicholls state are so nice. they are always willing to help you. get to know your teachers and ask about them before you register for classes.
Sara from Lake Charles, LA
i'd say that nicholls is about 3.5 stars on the academic rigor scale. i don't find it hard to get a's and b's, but you won't be able to get straight a's without major studying. most teachers here definitely grade so a c truly is average.
Alexis from Napoleonville, LA
very involved and complete courses.
