    I planned on going to an out-of-state school, but that's a lot of money. Tuition at Norfolk State is less than $8,000 a semester. That includes meal plan, room and board, and money on your SpartanCard. If you're like me and want to commute to school, that's less than $3,000 a semester. Saving money already!

    The school is definitely worth it. Of course in college you are taught to teach yourself and find out what works best for you. You have to get a feel for it during your first semester where you learn strategies in you Introduction to University Life class.
