The largest college in the state, Normandale Community College, was founded in 1968 and offers a variety of 2-year degrees and certificates. normandale is a great place to get general education done in the twin cities area. could use improvement on parking but this will be completed by fall 2012 according to the emails. many nice professors and helpful staff.

Normandale is a great starter school for anyone interested in just starting with their generals. They have many great programs and areas of interest for you to explore and they are very diverse. Transfer to other Minnesota colleges and universities is also made very easy through their MNTC program.
