Stay on top of things it is easy to be distracted. Don't be afraid to ask questions in class. Learn to do things on your own. I am from New jersey and their is a great difference in how things are done but you will get use to it.

Be on top of things. Look into things you need and apply to scholarships, financial aid payments to the school and etc. Be responsible for your actions because you are learning to become a responsible adult. You won't have your guardians around you no more and you must take care of things on your own. Be focused and put your education first before anything else, after all that's what you came for.

Being a transfer student I learned quickly that you may get a lot of negative reviews from people when you tell them you're applying to NC A&T (FROM PEOPLE WHO DIDNT EVEN GO THERE!) They usually imply that it's a party school or something of that nature. I must admit that we are known for the greatest homecoming on earth but we are wayyyyyy more than that one week! It's a experience like no other and I encourage you to join the aggie experience, you're destined for success.
