Great school; learn new things even in introductory classes. The majority of my engineering professors at NCSU have been top notch. They have helped me to go beyond the formulas and math by teaching the concepts related to the subject as well as problem solving skills.

It's a good school with good teachers and good prices for in-state students. Financial aid is lousy. It's in a great location.

NC State is a surprisingly gorgeous school. I don't know how many people really pay attention to the beauty of the campus, but when I visited, I took notice of the life and nature that was well, everywhere. After all, State is in a big city! I intend to take another tour soon, guided by a friend who is a freshman at State.

North Carolina State University is a great school. I'm enrolled in the College of Education and I thoroughly enjoy the smaller class sizes in this department. Campus life has really given me a boost in leadership, independence and providing me with an excellent academic program for my career goals.

NC State is a huge sprawling campus with a lot of diversity. There is a heavy emphasis on technical majors, but there is still a lot of different people with different focuses. It is not the easiest to navigate or the prettiest school, but it is still a very good college.

If you're interested in a technical school, NCSU is a good place to consider. The centennial campus is brand new and the facilities are top-notch. Raleigh is also a very fun town to live in with lots to do and a low cost of living.

It's a great, well rounded school (academics, athletics, food, extracurriculars). There is a friendly community (students AND teachers, as well as alumni!) that is always willing to assist. Everything about the school is convenient, also!
