What Students Are Saying

If you are not positive on your career goal, NCTC is a great place to start your basics and receive an associates degree. Also, they have a great nursing program, if you are interested in a nursing degree.
Kaytlynn from Valley View, TX
There are many study groups for the hardest classes like Anatomy and Physiology and College Algebra it is a good idea to get involved with those because they really benefit. Students can also get involved with the Student Success center which helps students reach their highest goals while having fun at the same time.
Charla from Sanger, TX
Have all of your enrollment stuff ready when you come, transcript, dual credit scores, scholarship awards, payment plan ready, living situations figured out, and make your hair pretty on the day you come to enroll because they will take your picture for the student ID card. Research all your opportunities first but NCTC has so many opportunities here.
Elaine from Van Alstyne, TX
register and verify enrollment and receipt of payment before the first day of class. if you pay at a time separate from the date of registration, you may be backed out of classes without knowing it.
Brittany - TX
The campus book store, buys books back and now allows people to rent out books for the semester, which is recommended to save money. If you commute, stack your classes together to allow you to make fewer trips or avoid long waiting times, but allow breaks. If you play an INSTRUMENT look into the music program. The professors will be happy to give you scholarship money.
Luis from Sanger, TX
Communication with your professor is key to help you reach your goals. Use all of the available resources the school has to offer.
