NIC is your own community beach house with constant opportunities for lake time fun in between classes. Combine that with the smaller classes sizes and individual attention given by instructors and NIC is the perfect college in Idaho. For size, price, and the beautiful view you'll be hard pressed to find a better place to get your associates degree.

Like living in a 5-star resort with a view of the beach. Classes are hard but the teachers are always there and patient. The students lack communication after class for direct learning on the first week of school.

Students get one-on-one education with professors in small class sizes. For an instate cheap option NIC is a great campus. Friendly people and professors.

if you're looking for a glorified high school so you can still be treated as if you're 16, this is the place for you! nic enjoys decorating the place as if it's an elementary school as well as treating 19 and 20 year olds like they can not make adult decisions, especially so if you live in the dorms. expect your trash to be dug through and your privacy violated. if you come into the building after dark they feel the need to thoroughly check through all of your personal items so be aware of that. classes are fine but you can likely find the same quality of classes and still maintain your privacy and adulthood literally anywhere else.

Most of the teachers are really helpful and hands on. The tuition prices are reasonable, and going to school at NIC is a very enjoyable experience. I can't wait for next semester to start!

North Idaho College is a wonderful place to start at when getting down core classes and maybe even some other classes for something you wish to major in. It is cheap and affordable and has the staff there has been helpful in many occasions. Also, since it is such a small college, the student to teacher ratio is pleasing and gives every student a chance to ask for help.
