Northeast Texas Community College is a 2-year community college just outside the town of Mount Pleasant. As befitting its rural setting, NTCC specializes in its Sustainable Agriculture program, affording students the opportunity to learn about environmentally-friendly methods of modern farming. NTCC’s Elizabeth Hoggat Wattley Agriculture Complex is LEED certified and a “net-zero” energy building. NTCC partners with Texas A&M University-Texarkana to offer several guided pathways toward earning a 4-year college degree.
