If you like nature you'll be in heaven. The Grand Canyon isn't too far away, unless you don't have a car. There is a lot of hiking, biking, camping.

As a student, I like activities that are accessible. With volleyball courts around campus, the recreation center, the movie theater, and the nearby mountain activities, there are plenty of ways to have easy fun and/or create my own fun.

For fun, one can join greek life or clubs. Greek life and clubs take up a lot of one's time and it is a super fun way to get involved in the community and make friends. However there is also a lot of other options that one can do for fun. Such as, exploring Flagstaff and the cities surrounding it. Flagstaff is a perfect place to go hiking and explore the wilderness. There are also a lot of famous places close to Flagstaff, like the Grand Canyon, which is only a two hour drive.

Flagstaff is the best place to stargaze in the entire world according to the Huffingston Post. So, my first year of college I would spend my time outdoors. I recommend hiking and exploring the beautiful and archaic downtown Flagstaff as well. Skiing and snowboarding in the Winter is always fun too.

Anything outdoors, biking, hiking, camping, cookouts and movies. Concerts and plays. Art galleries and museums. Sororities can keep you busy with lots of planned activities with your new Bff's. http://www.flagstaff.com/things-to-do

Downtown is only a short walk away, and for the outdoorsy types Flagstaff is a great city. For those more used to a city lifestyle however, you can run out of things to do pretty fast.

There are many things to do for fun on campus and off. The school has many clubs that one can join. There are many student led events for everybody, these are free with ID card. Off campus events are also fun, like the city theater, museums, and city events.

Some activities to do for fun are one, play sports if you are an athlete or you just want to have fun. Two, go hiking on the trails up the mountains. Three, when it is winter go up to the Snow Bowl and snow board or ski down the mountain. Four, visit the Grand Canyon or Sedona and so much more. Every once in awhile there will be free concerts or events around campus.
