The teachers that I have had for the most part have been amazing. Use upperclassman and online prof. grading sites as a resource though, because there are a few snoozers out here. If you can catch the right professor at this school, they can change your life.

Northern Arizona University is a great school. There is an amazing atmosphere, you just have to be willing to step outside of your comfort zone to figure out where you fit in.

Very clean, they do a great job spreading safety awareness. Dorms are a great size, and security for getting in is a priority. The option for finishing a degree in 3 years is pretty cool.

I have learned from experience that Northern Arizona University is better suited for undergraduates. There is not another university in the state that truly works with students to make the process of earning a Bachelor degree, or certificates of the like, an encouraging experience. Distinguished as it may be already Northern Arizona University grows continuously, putting Lumberjacks in the front seat.

Northern Arizona University is a great college if one loves the outdoors and cold weather. There is a lot to do in Flagstaff to stay active. The classes are also pretty easy to get in to.

Ha! I was the freshman who couldn't wait to get away from home! I am from the desert, the sunshine, the warm winters. So, what was I thinking?!? NAU is a Beautiful college campus. I fell in love with the Vermont like scenery when viewing photos of the golden and burnt orange fall foliage. In person, it is spectacular! The campus is situated in one of the cleanest, and most picturesque towns in Arizona. The snow-capped San Francisco Peaks are a majestic backdrop and the town is surrounded by tall pines and quaking Aspen trees. Interesting architecture and hundred-plus year old buildings contribute their rich history and beauty to this campus and town. The train service in Flagstaff connects with states near and far and adds a feeling of nostalgia. Shuttle service is always available to the Sky Harbor International Airport in Phoenix for weekend visits and NAU has recently partnered with Enterprise Rental Cars to provide rental cars for drivers 18 and over, a practice that is generally unheard of! There so many departments here, with new facilities for the Bio-Sciences going up as I write this. The Performing Arts Center is wonderful, Franke Business School, Hospitality Program, Sports, Nursing, Dental Hygienics, Communications and Education are just a few of the highly respected avenues to follow here. And if your interest is in Forestry, this is probably the Nation's finest program. With the Grand Canyon National Park as well as others in AZ, there is nothing comparable to surround those with a love of the outdoors. Students come from all over the world to attend NAU. So, what was I thinking? I will tell you! Where else could I attend college while living in such a splendorous setting? Snow sports? We've got them! The Snow Bowl Ski area is right here in Flagstaff! Before the snow flies it's breathtaking to ride the lifts to the top to view the town and surrounding areas. And if I need to warm up, I just shuttle the two hours home to my mama. It's Heaven on earth!
