I find Oakland University to be one of the most affordable colleges in Michigan (compared to the others I applied to) and one of the most generous with scholarships and grants, especially to those displaying financial need. Most people qualify for at least some kind of financial assistance, whether from FAFSA or Oakland directly. It is affordable and worth the price you pay. Also, there are no hidden fees, which is really nice. What you see is what you pay for.

Oakland is a really affordable college. It's free to apply and they don't charge any extra fees for things like parking and use of technology.
