Campus always has amazing and crazy events going on. Whether it be an early showing of a movie or paint wars. Every weekend the school has some sort of activity planned. Also if you are looking for something else to do Chicago is just a short train ride away or you can take a trip to the beaches of lake Michigan for the day. There is always something to do so the only reason one would get bored is if they chose to be bored.

Olivet does an incredible job of creating events for students on campus to have fun. Just about every weekend there is a campus event going on that just about the whole student body attends.

There is not really a whole lot of stuff to do in the area. There are sports, intramural sports , a few clubs, and lots of churches and ministries to get involved in. The Perry or Rec center is really popular. It has a pool, hot tub, places to chill, workout and do various activities. Our football team is horrible, but the baseball/ softball team as well as the cross country team is pretty good. This school is more about making your own fun rather than having fun things to do.

Olivet always has events taking place on campus. There are usually movies, campus wide events, sister-to-sister events, races, etc. Another fun thing to do on campus is to take advantage of the resources in the recreational center such as the olympic size swimming pool, the rock climbing wall, the hot tub, the lazy river and the arcade center located in the basement.

On campus, the rec center is a good place to go for fun. It has a huge rock climbing wall, several swimming pools, air hockey and other games. It also has an open gym the size of a football field! Off campus there are a lot of places to go shopping. There is also a ice skating/hockey rink, go karts, and a movie theater nearby.

I'm going to be honest and say that there are not too many things to do on-campus during the weekends. So making friends is a huge favor you have to do for yourself on so many levels. I do appreciate that the school sends out event calendars every month, and try to always encourage clubs and other social organizations within the student body.

There is not a ton to do in the town, but when you are with friends, there is always something to do.

There are multiple ministries and clubs to be involved in. We also play movies before they come out on DVD, an all school recess, intramurals, Ollies Follies (school wide competition), Spoons for Forks (school comedy group), and so much more. Chicago is also an hour train ride away. We also have an awesome rec center with a rock climbing wall!
