    OCC offers a lot of services and quality education at a low price. OCC is also surrounded by many entertainment venues in Costa Mesa. The beach is a minutes distance in Newport Beach and Huntington Beach.

    Apply for the Board of Governor's Fee Waiver and it will help a whole lot. Courses and textbooks are not at unrealistic prices. As long as you put in all your effort into your classes then you will have gotten so much back in return than what you had to pay for.

    At OCC, there are a lot of ways to get involved. I hugely recommend this. I have found that since joining student government, and getting otherwise involved on campus, my willingness to remain focused on school increased. I work harder on assignments because I'm expected to be an example to my fellow students. Getting involved on campus provides a sense of ownership. Plus, you do get an idea of how the campus runs that students rarely don't get to see.
