  • If you're an extrovert and like noise then you'll love the dorms. They're always really hot though, so bring a fan to keep at your window. If you can afford…

The food got stepped up a lot since the past few years and they offer a lot a variety for both the gluten free and vegan options.

unfortunately, the food is not that great here at oit. if you live on campus, you are forced to have a small meal plan of $250 a term. it is nice if you are looking for some money to get coffee and a cheap bagel on your way to class or a smoothie on your way home from the gym, but is otherwise a hassle. the food is not very good so sometimes it can be hard to burn through the money each term. if you aren't living on campus, the coffee shops are pretty decent but the hours are limited. so plan ahead. vegetarian or vegan, look elsewhere, they rarely have decent options that aren't a wilted salad.

The food is okay for about a month, then you'll want to eat off campus all the time. Except on Tuesday nights, when they do Texas Tuesday and serve steak, grilled chicken, shrimp, etc.

There are many different choices for students in the cafeteria like, pizza hut, hamburgers off the grill, fresh made stir fry and pasta, salad bar and subway. We also just got a Jamba Juice station in the cafe.

Only one area to get food on campus, but multiple coffee shops that take food plan cards. The food is what you would expect from a college campus, but is reasonably priced and the staff is friendly. There are also a few fast food places down the road from campus.

They aren't open on the weekends. Pizza Hut and Subway gets really boring after 2 weeks.

The CU offers great choices of food ranging from healthy to not so healthy with a Pizza Hut and a Subway involved as well, including several coffee carts throughout the educational buildings for quick access.

pretty much non existent. there is only one of each and neither is very active. there are still dues and no houses or crazy traditions associated with each. although, they tend to attract the stereotypical students who one would associate with the greek life, so this might float your boat. most of the clubs are not very active, but you are welcome to start something that suits you and your friends!

There's only one sorority and one fraternity on campus, so if you're super into Greek Life, this is not the place for you.
