There isn't much to do for fun on campus, unless you're into the arts. There's almost always a show going on at the theater, be it music, drama, or dance.

Palomar College is full with activities. When I'm heading to my classes, I see a lot of both on the quad. Even though, I'm not involved with any activities, they do offer them.

Palomar has something for everyone: interesting buildings, an Arboretum, open computer labs, a nice library, a gallery, and more. I suggest getting lost once in a while and checking out buildings. One of my favorite places is the art buildings, where this so much to see including the gallery exhibits and students glass blowing. One hall even has random art students will post up. Walking around campus pay attention to the people around you. There could be people skating around dressed as pirates or playing the guitar and chances are there will be someone who will interest you in a strange, intellectual, or friendly way.

Within five minutes from the campus one can be hiking Palomar Mountain or attending a movie at Edward's cinema, or bowling, or going lazer tagging. Within twenty minutes of the campus one can be doing all beach activities, shopping at the mall, visiting San Diego down town. The things that a person can do here is endless.
