The cafeteria food was decent. There were usually plenty of choices. The food was better than my high school cafeteria. Most students living on campus bought a dining plan, and I highly recommend it. It was convenient to be able to just walk from my dorm to the cafeteria or Grill. There are a few places off campus to eat, but some close early. The Grill had yummy things like cheese fries and healthier options such as grilled chicken salad.

For food, there a quite a few different options. The cafeteria is an all you can eat buffet for about $6 without a meal plan. It usually has grilled foods like burgers and some kind of pasta/rice dish every day and the menu will vary from day to day. The Bistro is right outside of the cafeteria and is similar to a fast food restaurant. It has things like burgers, chicken strips, BLTs, grilled cheese, chicken sandwich, fries, etc. There is also the option to eat outside of campus at one of the fast food places or one of the many family owned restaurants.

The food at Pearl River was always great. They have an amazing salad bar. And if your a picky eater like me they always had something I could eat. Very tasteful and healthy food. Even the breakfast is great. They also have a desert bar.

Every Wednesday different churches come and bring meals for students. All they ask for is a dollar donation. It is always great food and a great service.

The food isn't always great. Occasionally, the cafeteria serves food that I really like. Even though the students carelessly waste food or drink everywhere, I have never heard any of the staff complain.

The cafeteria on campus is delicious. It offers 3 meals/day and several different choices/meal. Choices include a salad bar, dessert bar, grill, or home cooked food, soda fountain, juices, milk, coffee, and more. It is definitely worth getting a meal ticket if you attend this campus.

I was not in any fraternities or sororities. I don't remember hearing about them, so I can't really comment on this.
