Sign up for classes as EARLY as you can so that you can make sure to get the classes you for your program at the campus most convenient for you. Most students are not at only one campus. I personally have most classes on the Strawberry Plains campus and the Magnolia Average campus. If you're from the Knoxville area, you probably know the stigma attached to Magnolia Avenue-- that it's a rough area-- DON'T WORRY. The Magnolia Pellissippi campus is very secure, friendly. Also, there's a lovely courtyard in the middle of it. I like to sit out there to study.

Walk your classes before the semester begins to learn where to go. Befriend fellow classmates so you can coordinate homework assignments and projects.

I would recommend starting here if you have weaknesses in school. Otherwise, you may end up spending more and more money at a university than you would at a community college!
