Affordability and Cost

Average Net Price Average net price for full-time, first-time degree/certificate-seeking undergraduates paying the in-state or in-district tuition rate who were awarded grant or scholarship aid from federal, state or local governments, or the institution. Other sources of grant aid are excluded. Aid awarded anytime during the full aid year is included.

Average net price is generated by subtracting the average amount of federal, state or local government, or institutional grant and scholarship aid from the total cost of attendance. Total cost of attendance is the sum of published tuition and required fees (lower of in-district or in-state), books and supplies and the weighted average room and board and other expenses.

What Students Are Saying

Tuition for one year at ETSU, was $20,000. For one year! Pellissippi was only $800 full time. So much cheaper, but the classes are not.
Shannon from Maryville, TN
The thing I appreciate most about Pellissippi is how cheap it is compared to other colleges. It is a great idea to go to Pellissippi for you basic classes because it is so cheap.
Nicolas from Knoxville, TN
By adding an extra class here and there, students are able to enhance their educational credentials with Institutional Certificates. By only adding 4 classes to my curriculum, I am earning 3! Tutors are available for almost every discipline. The Educational Resources Center (library) has a computer lab and laptops are available, as well as WiFi access almost everywhere on campus.
Gregory from Oak Ridge, TN
I would say that Pellissippi is one of the best value colleges around. You get equal if not better academics and a wonderful learning environment for a portion of the cost of a four-year university.
Emily from Lenoir City, TN
The education at Pellissippi is top-notch, but the price tag is far less than other colleges/universities in the greater Knoxville area.
Kathleen from Maryville, TN
five stars!
Joy from Maryville, TN
Pellissippi is great and not that expensive!
Wayne from Powell, TN
This school has a VERY reasonable tuition and with my experience, I think it is worth every penny.
