there is always something to do. you can go to pegula ice arena and go iceskating. you can go to the gym and join a class. the university often holds events throughout the year, like various concerts, color runs, etc. during the fall you can go to beaver stadium for a football game. you can go to bryce jordan center for a basketball game. you can wander around downtown and explore the unique shops and eateries located there.

what is there not to do here?! seriously, i feel like 4 years isn't enough time to tackle all the great things psu has to offer. for starters you should go to every single football game and tailgate for them. football saturdays are what penn state students dream for over the summer. you can also get into greek life, which has many benefits while in college and when you graduate. joining a club or sport is another option at penn state. you can literally create your own club too, just find about five members and a club advisor! everyday there seems to be some sporting event going on so you will always have something to do. the social life usually starts up on thursday nights, but if you're a true psu student you know we can go out any night. (if we are finished with schoolwork)

The HUB provides many activities you could do especially for Friday nights and weekends. You could also go to Downtown or join any club based on your interests. Believe me, when I say your interests, there are basically everything. You name it, and there are they.

Attend at least one football game to experience Happy Valley's school spirit and expansive tailgating. Hockey games also rock the student section. Join the gym to release stress and take care of yourselft. Join a club to challenge yourself with something you've never done before for well-balanced 1st year experience.

We're surrounded by farms, and are in a valley. How is that not fun? In order to have fun, join clubs and meet new people, especially upperclassmen.

Penn state seems to offer lots for every type of student. The list of clubs was endless, and they even encourage you to start your own if it's not already offered! They also offer various levels of select sports, like inter-murals. If actually playing sports isn't for you, then maybe watching will be! The student section was amazing and very impressive, and looked like a great thing to be a part of. Penn state also had three gyms, to keep in shape.
