Join a club/organization, check out the museums on campus, get some ice cream at the creamery, or check out the beautiful Arboretum (a huge garden right off campus). The gyms on campus are also very nice and they provide so many fun workout classes. They have dance classes, cycling classes, and muscle building classes you can do with a bunch of your friends. And these classes are free with your membership so I encourage you to try them all. There are also a lot of very nice restaurants and stores downtown when you need a break from campus.

What isn't there to do for fun? There are frats and sororities and many apartments to enjoy parties. There are over a thousand clubs. There are THON organizations and committees that you meet with every week to come up with new ways to raise money for THON. The downtown area is located right at the edge of campus so that students can walk to restaurants and stores from campus. There is also a laser tag arena downtown and a theater for movies and plays by the University. There are also play to go see by the Penn State Thespian organization. The HUB which is a commonplace for students on campus always hosts concerts or comedians. We also have one of the largest football stadiums to enjoy games at. There are many other sports events to attend like hockey and basketball.

The more you get involved at Penn State, the more fun there will be! Penn State's main campus is popular for its football games in the fall semester, which brings all students together to cheer and root for the team. Penn State has so many events, such as late night activities, free concerts, game nights and free movies! Even spending time with your friends makes campus life at Penn State worthwhile.

Club Sports: PLAY ULTIMATE FRISBEE, it was the best decision I have ever made (besides coming to Penn State). It's the perfect mix of fun and competition. They don't cut, they just have a travel squad for Spring tournaments. In the Fall, everyone goes! It's like a sorority except instead of meetings we have practices. We still do volunteering, fundraising and partying. !!! (Also, commonly unknown fact: club sports at PSU aren't allowed to cut so if you don't want to play ultimate, play soccer or something!) Fraternities and Sororities: if this is your thing, go for it, I don't have a lot of experience in this area, but I know we have a frat or srat for everyone. Intramurals: It's super fun to grab a bunch of friends together and play a sport! You get a cool nike t-shirt if you win the whole thing! Go Downtown: Coming from a real city, don't get me wrong downtown State College is nothing like an actual city. But, it still has its own vibes. Super cute, super fun. Join a Club: join a club in your major!
