Penn State is a first class University. Professors are both well informed and intriguing. Even the biggest lecture classes can seem like an engaging one on one meeting. The class listings also are very various and allow for much customization in the college experience. Ine general professors and advisers seem to genuinely care about my progress. The only con I find is that since the school is so large many of the courses fill up quickly so stay on your toes.

Penn State University is in short what you make it. If you are taking a more difficult major, chances are you won't have a lot of time to do what you want without taking a hit to your grades. There really are lots of great clubs, organizations, and opportunities to have here, and Penn State really promotes self-motivation, where its up to you to plan what classes you want when you want, but it comes down to focus and restraint if you want to succeed academically.

Penn State is a very welcoming campus to any student and you will find somewhere you fit in perfectly. The campus is beautiful and very safe, there are even buses to take you anywhere from campus to downtown. The faculty is wonderful, the professors I have had at least, and they truly show their passion and love for the content which is very inspiring.
