Get involved with organizations and clubs! You'll make a lot of new friends and become a more well rounded student. Also, prepare for a VERY long winter; it starts to snow in October! Finally, don't overload on courses, you have 4 or even 5 years to complete your undergraduate degree.

With the exception of the physics department, it is a quality school that provides a good education. The staff is friendly and know what they are doing. The campus is well placed, with beautiful scenery and easy access to transportation.

Most of the faculty that I have encountered are pleasant to deal with. Residence Life is tolerable. The landscape, although on a hill, is beautiful nonetheless.

It's an excellent school if you're willing to do the work. Definitely not for students who aren't self-motivated. The administration sucks, and they'll fight you on everything.

Behrend is a small campus that allows you to get to classes quickly. There are multitudes of activities to do around here ranging from hiking to gaming. It's an awesome school to attend if you want pretty good one on one attention with teachers.

Penn State became my home at Behrend, staff and school mates are friendly and teachers are more than willing to help and advise students on how to do better and make changes. I have made so many connections and had so many experiences that I would never change for the world that I was given at Behrend. I love the school and the people who make it worth wile.

Penn State Erie has a strong focus on STEM fields and you probably won't make it our of there without knowledge of mechanics and electricity. I think it would be worth while to attend this branch campus instead of the main university park campus because Erie is slightly cheaper and it provides many of the engineering and science classes that you will need anyway. Penn State Behrend also has the most choice in terms of degree selection.
