Pepperdine is an expensive school, but one that also provides very generous financial aid to those who need it. And because of the high price, you are well taken care of. The campus is beautiful, everything is well maintained, taken care of and safe. Our abroad programs are ranked #1 in the country, mainly because of accessibility. You can go to one of our 7 abroad campuses for a semester or a year for no more than your normal tuition on campus. I am going to the Middle East this summer, and almost everything for me is paid for, including the flights.

This university is definitely pricey, but don't be afraid to apply!!! I know I didn't want to apply because of the cost, but financial aid is pretty generous. Plus, there's work study and many scholarships available at Pepperdine to apply to. There are several students I know who are paying less than a UC to attend Pepperdine. This university is definitely worth the price!

Malibu is an expensive place to live so whenever you find a great deal take advantage of it! Ralphs gives good deals especially when you have a card (same goes for CVS). Take the bus when you can or even just walk to the beach. If you can come by a bike even better. That's why I advised to get a job, it helps with being able to enjoy what Malibu has to offer.

If you're looking for a good community of people with good values, Pepperdine is the place. You will find many different types of people and they're incredible in their own way.

Yes, Pepperdine is very expensive, but it's a beautiful campus, small class sizes, great opportunities, and staff/professors who truly care about their students. So, far I'd say it's worth it.
