Categories Comments What to do for fun
After a really hard test or at the end of the semester, we all go out for drinks at the bars around school and sometimes the professors join us. Fun times.
Food and Dining
They don't have a cafe but there are plenty of places around the school and hospital to get food that is quite good.
No dorms. Just commute.
Make sure you study. Nursing classes are unlike any other class you might have had before and just showing up will not be enough. Also, use and abuse your professors inbox if you have any questions. They want you to and they will definitely help you.
Tips for prospective students
Take all your liberal arts classes, including pharmacology, before starting PBISN. I did and it was the best decision ever. Nursing classes are hard enough without having to worry about taking other classes on top of it like some of my classmates.
In three sentences
One of the best nursing schools for an Associates in the city. From what I hear from students in other programs, we do the most in clinicals that others aren't taught or allowed to do by their program. We are taught to be confident in our skills and patient advocates. This is my last semester and I feel ready for the NCLEX and any new grad position.
