Pierce College is willing to evaluate your military transcripts for college credits. This makes it even easier for military students to achieve their goals. Credits are awarded based on degree and applicability. This can be done after completing 10 credit hours. The college also has a used/new book store on post. This book store located in the Stone education center has all the books for military courses.

Was a brilliant idea to begin at a community college! Much lower tuition than the colleges my friends are at, but equally as challenging and educational!

The tuition is really low and Pierce has a good reputation in the community, which opens doors for its students. There is a wide array of classes you can take. The tuition is comparable to the other local community colleges, but Pierce has a gym (which is $15 for a quarters worth of use) and a lot more programs than the others. The vast majority of classes do transfer and the difficulty towards the end of your degree prepares you for a transfer, while the stair stepping of difficulty helps maintain your GPA while getting prepared for a transfer.
