I feel this college was very affordable and although I did require financial aid, I was surprised at the cost.

For the price you will not find much better than Pierce in Puyallup here. IT has great bus service connecting you to the Pierce county and (king) Seattle area. Within half a mile there is a Walmart, and a different food store. The campus is beautifully colored greens, reds, and golds. There is a terrific view of Mt. Rainier from the campus. THe library is open late, transfers books from the other campus in Lakewood in one day every time except Holidays and sundays. THe computer lab is well staffed and can help you with almost anything. There is a gym, a performing arts center. The student life is great there are a bunch of clubs and student activities happen almost everyday. They pas out free food coffee, and several others items on the first few days of class, and randomly throughout the quarter. Those days are always blessings! They have free pens, everyday, free calendars, planners, look around and you find folders too. For me these little things made being a student much easier. Love being a Raider!

I've looked at other community colleges and this is definitely one of the cheapest! Even the Nursing Assistant program is cheaper too. They also offer a Tuition installment plan and many scholarships every year from the Pierce College Foundation.
