Pittsburg State University is a public institution based in rural southeast Kansas. The school operates a second satellite campus in the Kansas City Metro area. Pitt State is home to the Tyler Research Center which houses both the Kansas Polymer Research Center and the Business & Technology Institute. PSU students can take advantage of their flat rate tuition offer which allows full-time students to take as many classes as they like for the same flat fee.
Affordable and good university with good teachers. Very clean and organized campus. Lots of majors available and everything is managable.

after my first semester, i can honestly say that i have had some of the best teachers of my life here. there is definitely a lot to get involved in no matter what your interests may be. the dorms are nice, but the requirement to live in them isn't.
