Student Responses to Review Topic: Food And Dining

  • Nov-13-2014 I am researching this school and have visited the campus

The dining isn't bad, but at other colleges I have visited, the dining has been better (UNH, Kenne). I still enjoy the dining, even if you don't think you will use more than 15 swipes, it is worth to get the larger package, far less stressful for an extra 100 dollars.

Again, typical college fare. The dining hall has some weird hours, but the Union Grille is pretty good and I love the coffee in the Sidewalk Cafe. There seem to be emphasis on healthy eating, choices, and nutrition among the food service staff and in the dining areas, which is really great of Sodexo to provide.

Sodexo does it's best, but once you've eaten it for two years straight you're definitely glad to start cooking for yourself again.

The food itself isn't all too bad and here are several places you can eat on campus. The dining hall can get a little old after a while because of the lack of variety.

The schools dinning hall is quite good, but if you eat there often, you easily get tired of the food, since the has the same menu that goes around. However they have some days throughout the year when they food from different countries and part of the world, which is good and mixes up a little bit. According to me the breakfast is the best meal, lot of options and always fruits and berries to eat.

While I'm not involved in Greek life, there is a prominence of it on campus, but it's not expected or necessary for students to be involved in it to fit in.

Although you hear about many underground greek organizations, there are only three recognized sororities on campus. Tau Omega, Kappa Delta Phi NAS, and Delta Zeta. Though Greek Life is small, they make a huge impact on the campus. I am proud to be Greek!
