The teachers are pretty good for a community college. There are many teachers that are enthusiastic and willing to help if you don't understand something.

Porterville is a small campus ideal for low student to teacher ratios, the closest you will get to one on one. A knowledgeable staff that cares about your success so long as you put forward an effort.

This college offers a lot of help whether it be with free tutoring, or staff that is always available, through email or office hours. I have not had any bad experiences with teachers at this college, they have great science, anthropology, and child development classes. Books are always made available in the library for those who can not afford to buy them.
