There's a bowling alley in the basement of Smith Memorial. There are numerous cafes on and off campus, and I recently discovered one (Glyph Cafe) that hosts poetry slams weekly. Visit the Art Museum! Visit OMSI! Visit the zoo! Catch a Timbers game at Providence Park! Go shopping at Pioneer Place! Hang with some friends at Buffalo Wild Wings! There is a TON to do in and around campus.

Eat! Try foods you've never heard of, because trust me, there's tons of it at the food carts. Many older students like to try the trendy bars around Portland. There's a free movie theater run by PSU students, and they show wacky and/or classic films. P-town is a big music town, so there's always a cool show happening. The biggest concert halls in the city are not three blocks from the campus.

There is tons down town Portland. There are Ample amounts of places to eat and so forth. You just have to get out and look. Voodoo for one is extremely famous as well as all of the great food carts on campus. I am finding myself at the rec center almost every day working out. They also have TONS of sports clubs and so forth for the students to join.
