When it comes to how much you learn I believe that it is up to you to take classes that are interesting and a little bit challenging, because the classes that are easy tend to get boring and not teach you as much.

i applied to this university because it seemed interesting and had the major i was looking for. they emailed me to tell me that they received my application and that was the last i heard from them. they never sent me an acceptance or rejection letter; maybe they lost my application.

Unsatisfactory, rude and unethical teachers, Snobby and arrogant Professors, with education levels of a Catholic Junior High and High School. Over confident, undereducated, over degreed educators who think they can treat people with disrespect and disdain, with no regard to the facts regardless of the situation. PSU is an overpaid institution of individuals all walking around wearing masks , covering up real truth behind the shrouded blankets of lies and financial heartache- instead of helping good valued people who are intelligent hardworking regular folks who want an education to live by, but rather produces a bunch of stuck in a trench, over pushed, unnecessary education- in a place of hope, leaving behind hundreds of over degreed, undereducated, barista's in a city of LOST hope and despair - filled with hopelessness, unemployment, and thousands of PSU degree holders all lounging around, smoking pot, living off welfare and food-stamps- in a state filled with wannabees, dreamers, and drifters, that makes a seventh generation Oregonian want to leave as fast as possible- being pushed out of my own state by OUT of Towner's who shouldn't be here in the first place- and clog up our streets with bad drivers, raise rent and forces locals out of their own areas- causing unwanted diversity in a place where we like to keep things the way they should be, with Morals and Ethics, Values beyond what Portland State teaches, or has the capacity to teach.

Portland State is made up of a very charming group of students, and every one seems very distinctively unique and righteous in their own light. The campus is beautiful, yet a bit small, and perfectly located in downtown, which makes the college-student lifestyle feel busy, exciting, and mature. It is nice to be a part of an urban, eco-friendly, and diverse university.

This was not my first choice school; I went here because of the cheap tuition, and I'm very happy with my decision. I really love the school. There's always stuff to do, places to visit, food to eat (amazing food carts!), and a diverse body of people to meet.

Portland State University is very eco friendly. It is a commuting school; there are buses, trains, and streetcars available for transportation. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming!

Horrible and not able to help students, has no opportunities for students, takes forever to get ahold of anyone to help, spams emails with things that are unneeded even after asking them to personally stop.

PSU is typically called a commuter college because of its urban setting and appeal to non-traditional college students (returning students, transfers, etc). Like all colleges, there are good and bad aspects to PSU. One good aspect is their new 4-year degree guarantee, and one bad aspect is the bureaucratic run-around you get due to the high numbers of students enrolled there.

Portland State is a great place for those who enjoy the urban life meets the environment. Just try public transportation or ride your bike to get here. The parking is terrible.

This School has great students and faculty, however the food isn't the greatest. The location of the school is probably the best out of all schools in Oregon. This school has a fantastic Honors program which helps you succeed ten times more than the regular college program.

Though this school does have a great sports program, that is not the focus. Being in Downtown Portland, there is always something to do after class. The teachers genuinely care about your education, enough to strike for it.
