Providence Christian College is a Christian liberal arts college in Pasadena offering a Faith Guided Learning initiative that mixes academia with real world cultural interaction. Providence offers a single liberal arts degree program founded upon study of the Great Books with concentrations in nine academic subjects. Beyond its classroom offerings, Providence is home to The Avodah Program which provides students the opportunity to take a break from their studies every few weeks and road trip to provide community service throughout the Los Angeles area. As a Christian institution, Providence holds weekly chapel services every Wednesday.
