the school is greatly priced. i've never had to pay out of pocket for any of my classes. it is pricey for international students though, which is tough on them.

Take advantage of RACC's Library - or more to the point - the Library Staff. They are absolutely amazing, always willing to assist a student with helping to locate resources for a paper, or any other academic project. They are especially willing to help with genealogy sourcing. The staff gets my vote for helpfulness with a smile (you know it has to be nice when the sign on the door says Interrupt me, I am friendly!)

This school offers a very good academic education for a low price. Starting here and then transferring can be one of the smartest thing someone can do instead of paying for the same class at a higher cost at another university.

I am really happy I chose this college, I met some great people and I am being challenged academically. You do a lot of the class work on your own, like reading and understanding, but it helps you retain the information better. They expect a lot out of you but it helps you in the end to be better. The teachers really do help you out the best they can with bringing your grades up to be the best they can be.

the class sizes are smaller so there is more one on one time with each student. also material isn't just thrown at you during lectures, its explained in detail with examples and process. more importantly the teachers in my opinion seem to care more about each student and his/her progress in the class
