They have their own art gallery in Brazos, and their music department puts on performances at least once a week, so there's always something going on. They also offer intramural athletics that you can get involved in, from flag football to soccer to table tennis. Every now and then, there will be events on campus promoting cultural diversity or holidays.

Read MoreRichland is a community college, so that about sums up what you can do for fun. I do wish the partying scene was better. I think most people at Richland are friendly (there are some really strange students though, and they all gather in El Paso or outside and dance. it's really weird.), but we just go our separate ways once class ends. However, UTD is pretty close and there is often word about frat parties and whatnot floating around campus.
