I would recommend that prospective students get involved but not to involved to the point it hinders their studies. Rider has free on-campus tutoring that students definitely should utilizes to write better essays, study for tests, and get help in classes they struggle in. Look for all the things that the campus has to offer.

Come in with a positive attitude and ready to meet new people. Again, this is a small campus, so you will be meeting a lot of people and you will most likely see them around a lot. Also, take advantage of your professors' office hours. They are there to help and will always help you. It's hard to get around if you don't have a car, so it's good to make friends with people who have them or get creative with finding stuff to do on campus. There is almost always something to do if you are involved in activities, so take advantage of them!
